Empowered for Employment
Women who have experienced family and domestic violence face considerable challenges, even after they’ve left their relationship.
This includes increased health issues, financial instability and the looming threat of homelessness. In fact, an average of over 80,500 Australian women a year are assisted by specialist homelessness agencies due to family and domestic violence issues.
You can support women who have experienced family domestic violence by becoming a Mentor in our Empowered for Employment program. Assist us in preparing women to enter or re-enter the workforce, increasing their confidence and supporting their financial stability.
