Tuesday, 29 November 2011 - Curtin Students lead the United Way

What an exciting year this has been for us at United Way WA! When we took on two Curtin University PR students as interns we had no idea how engaged they would become with our work at United Way...

After reading about the work we do and researching on Student United Way's in the United States, Kuda and Kevryn decided Australia was way overdue in having the same movement here. As such they have formed the very first International Student United Way program outside of the US.

Student United Way is a student-led club on The Curtin University campus. Through Student United Way, you can...

  1. Give, Advocate, and Volunteer
  2. Grow as leaders and connect to our community
  3. Build lasting relationships

The Student United Way works in coordination with the United Way of WA and is part of an international movement of young people on college and university campuses throughout the world working and learning to advance the common good.
