Friday, 24 February 2012 - The 2012 5 cents for 5 senses campaign is on again! Help us find 5 to help 5!

United Way WA relaunches its innovative and unique fundraising campaign on 24th February 2012. Five senses-related charities will benefit-- Telethon Speech and Hearing Centre, Senses Foundation, WA Deaf Society, Assistance Dogs Australia and Friends of Autism.

Last year in a short pilot program United Way 'tested the market' and were delighted with the response with the WA public donating more than 300,000 5 cent coins. This year we hope to reach over 500,000 5 cent coins.

The 5c for five senses campaign is calling again on people across Western Australia to scour their homes, workplaces and vehicles for 'unwanted' 5 cent coins that are gathering dust and could be put to better use.
